Real Madrid : la réponse de Zinedine Zidane à la dernière polémique autour de Gareth Bale
Présent en conférence de presse ce vendredi, l’entraîneur du Real Madrid Zinedine Zidane n’a évidemment pas pu échapper aux questions sur la célébration polémique de Gareth Bale lors de son passage en sélection au Pays de Galles.

Ces quelques mots cousus sur un drapeau du Pays de Galles; brandi par Gareth Bale et toute son équipe lors de la victoire contre La Hongrie (2-0) synonyme de qualification pour l’Euro 2020, font couler énormément d’encre en Espagne, où le gaucher est accusé de manquer de respect à l’institution Real Madrid. Zinedine Zidane, présent en conférence de presse ce vendredi, savait qu’il ne pourrait pas échapper aux questions sur le sujet.
Au total, le technicien merengue a dû répondre neuf fois à différentes questions posées sur le n° 11. « J’ai parlé avec lui, comme avec tous les joueurs, tous les jours. On parle de terrain. Le reste, ça ne m’intéresse pas, il est bien, il s’est entraîné normalement. (…) À 100%, on sait ce qu’il peut nous apporter, nous avons beaucoup de matches à venir, je vais compter sur tous les joueurs, comme toujours. On sait ce qu’il peut faire pour nous. (…) Oui, Gareth peut être décisif, il l’a prouvé. S’il est bien, qu’il n’a rien, il est très très important. Il l’a démontré et va continuer à le faire. Quand il est blessé, c’est différent. Quand il est bien, je compte sur lui, vous le savez, il n’y a rien de nouveau », a-t-il confié, tentant tant bien que mal de dégonfler la polémique.
« A-t-il manqué de respect au club ? Je n’entrerai pas dans ce débat-là, je peux juste te dire que Gareth Bale est mon joueur, je suis entraîneur du Real Madrid, et lui il est joueur du Real. (…) Les gens qui aiment ce club, vu ce que Gareth a donné au club, doivent être derrière nous et avec lui, parce qu’il est avec nous. Il peut se passer des choses en dehors, mais nous ne devons penser qu’au terrain. Hors du terrain, on ne contrôle pas ce qui se passe. (…) Je crois qu’il veut jouer, il n’aime pas non plus qu’on parle trop de lui comme ça, mais bon… Il est là, il veut jouer », a-t-il conclu. Avocat commis d’office devant les médias, faute de communication officielle du principal intéressé, ZZ espère que son client saura lui rendre la pareille sur le terrain dans les semaines à venir.
